6k on my 2000.. want a 2001....

I have 6k on my 2000 but I wanted to know what you guys thought of trading it in for a 2001.. What kind of a deal do you think they would work out??? I currently am leasing.. it is a loaded 5spd..

I was considering it at 10k miles.. woulda taken a 3-4k hit in negative equity... I *MIGHT* do it if the 2002 has the 3.5. I wouldn't do it just to get a 2001 not even an AE.

ye me and punkdork have the same thoughts... i wouldnt trade mine for a 2001 but when the 3.5 litre comes out with all that power that is "rumored" i will def take the trading into consideration

Why would you trade a 2000 for a 2001?!? Crazy. Maybe a 2002 if the rumors turn out to be true. Besides with a lease you are pretty much fooked to move up to a 2001. Bring a jar of vaseline and ask the dealership to be gentle when you go in to discuss that proposition.

Alternatively, look at it this way. With the money you save from not getting hosed by the dealership you could get a supercharger and lay the smack down on 2002 3.5s even if they do pan out.
