What rpm do you lauch at? What are some of your launching techniques. Do you just dump the clutch or just feather it? Please give me some tips on lauching your 5spd's.

Thanks,
-Nick

dumping will give you either 1.spinning or 2.bog

feathering will work great if you can get a feel, EXCEPT it will destroy your clutch.

you need to just practice, and find something where you are releasing the clutch fast, but not just dumping it (assuming you are on street tires).. now what rpm, this you just need to practice as it matters how fast you are releasing, what mods, what track, etc..

basically, if you didnt catch it by now.. practice makes perfect, or closer to it

Dumping the clutch seems to work fine for me. Granted, I get a lot of wheel spin, but I also get better 60ft times dumping the clutch rather than slipping it. You know what they say though...different strokes.....

I feather the clutch. Usually from about 2 grand, and feather it till I no longer worry about wheel spin, and then let it grab.
