Road Trip, need help on mileage

Road Trip, need help on mileage

im going to texass in 2days. i was wondering about the comfort-power switch. witch one does better gas mileage or should i just leave it alone and let it do itz own thing. need help!? thanx guys.

doesn't make much difference, since you won't be shifting much. just set the cruise at a decent speed, and keep your foot out of it when you're in town/traffic.

what matt said, and make sure your O/D is on, you have your tire pressure right and that your air filter isn't too dirty. maybe consider an oil change depending on how close you are

I drove to Texas from Virgina. Easily, I got about 26 to 28 MPG with my '94GXE. With the cruise set, this car is wonderful on gas. Like medic said, change your oil and air filter, you should be good to go. Even though I am late with this post, I hope you had a good trip.
