ADDCO Rear Sway Bar

For those who dont regularly visit the group deals page:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=233789

Pricing will be $100+ shipping (down from $129++) if we can get 5 people.

Thanks!

Wow, I just bought a front strut tower brace (best mod for $12 + 12 s&h on ebay) and may decide to get a RSB to somewhat complement it. Just one suspension mod is not enough.

However, would buying this RSB somewhat lessen the need to upgrade the front sway bar (as I would by buying the ST front & rear kit)? Which one is better, the ST or Addco? Opinions? Plus, I still am running the stock suspension on this car (93 se) and do have plans to upgrade to probably ST springs & Koni adjustables, but haven't quite saved up enough money to fund that mod. Wheels are still stock 15's with the 65-series tires (omg, can you say sidewall???) too.

The ideal set-up is to have the ADDCO in the rear and the ST front bars. They sell the front ST bar by itself.

How much will this help me if I already have FSTB, Eibach/KYB's? I have the GXE stock rims.

From what I have read, this is a worthy improvement regardless of other mods. I currently have FSTB, eibach/konis and 99SE rims (soon to be 2001 Cobra rims). I expect more neutral handling (less understeer) from the ADDCO bar. Also, it is thicker than the ST rear sway bar (which is the same diameter as stock, just solid instead of hollow). Adding the front ST bar is still an option with the ADDCO, but it may increase understeer by stiffening up the front end. I believe the ADDCO is the best sway bar you can get for the car.

Hmm, I just might have to find a way to spend $100 on this group deal.

Suspension mods = good!

One last bump for good measure...

Group deal was successful, and Cattman will honor the price ($100 + shipping) for a few more weeks.

Hey, I think I'll hop on this deal. Davebond007, if you still want to, maybe we can combine orders and split shipping?

Might work out. I have to get some additional funding soon (ie, another paycheck, which is just a matter of time). I definitely will be getting this.
