5spd tranny question
5spd tranny question
i thinking of buying this used 94 ve 5spd as a parts car ,but the seller said that the speed pump is bad. Does anyone know how much a speed pump is and is it difficult to attain. no flaming eithier
i idon't know what i need but some told me it was speed pump. I don't know much about 5spds. all i know my clutch pedal is all the way to the floor and it doesn't rise or fall by it self and i not sure whats wrong with it. Any suggestions?
I have never ever heard of a speed pump ever, and I know quite a bit about cars. I guarantee if you go to a Nissan dealer and ask for a new "speed pump", the parts guy will outright laugh at you.
anyway, the clutch pedal problem is caused by a lack of fluid in the lines. You either have a leak or a worn out clutch master or slave cylinder. First, check the clutch fluid level under the hood (small cylinder in the upper right corner).
Fixing this problem shouldnt cost you that much.

thanks for the information rosenken. I checked uder the hood and the clutch fluid thing was empty. i going to try to fill it up and see if thats the culprit behind the clutch problem.
