Shocks/Strut suggestion

What's up Max Enthuiast,

I just got a 91 Max SE(No Pics Yet). It is an automatic(don't laugh). I just purchased a Place Racing cold air intake(I am installing it know). I also bought a AEM by-pass valve. Ok to my question, I want to buy some lowering springs, struts and shocks. However, my car has the electronic suspension, I was wondering if someone could recommend any suspension products. I was told if you used the tokico shocks/struts, you would have to disabled the electronic suspension. I am looking for a suspension that improves the handling, but at the same time it's a daily driver, so I want some comfort also. Any suggestions?

you're not going to get both.. the electronic suspension will have to go, unless you replace it with $$$ OEM parts.

toks aren't that harsh anyway- it's the springs that make the difference. search for more info on which springs and struts to purchase.

Don't know about the Max, but on other cars I've changed them on the difference between Tokico Illumina (adjustables) and something like KYB or GAB non-adjustables is HUGE. But then so is the difference in price.

You want three things out of a good suspension. Great Handling, Good Ride, cheap price. You can have any two of those desires by sacrificing the third.

I just put on Tokico's on my 92SE about a week ago. I am very satisfied with them; the ride is nice and handling is a lot better.

Thanks all,

What springs do you recommend? I was told eibach was a quality product, but the drop is 1.2.
