I got a sub and amp installed yesterday. I asked the guys to take out the little Bose sub, so they did and I was happy with that. And then I heard the ridiculous rattle from the Bose cover plate on the rear deck. So I took it out, breaking off one of the clips in the process (d'oh!) and the rattle went away completely (the thing was basically floating on top of the deck, haha). Now I have a hole there with nothing covering it. I have no real problem with it other than that it looks ghetto and if you looked real hard through the tint you could see the box inside the trunk. Any ideas on covering this up with something that wont rattle?

Aint nothing more you can do but get another gille and stick it back on, I dont have the bose sub back there but the grille is still on there and it doesnt rattle.

Hot glue the grill back onto the carpet.

 

I did this w/ my old car... covered my tweeters w/ pantyhose that matched the color of the upholstery. It's gonna take some creativity to cover the bose hole tho... good luck!
