How to remove dried wax from paint?

Hey guys,

I recently washed & waxed my car, but forgot to remove a little bit of wax by the rear spoiler. It's hardened onto the paint now. What's the best way to get it off? Wax the car again? Doesn't washing the car with dish detergent remove the wax?

Thanks,
-Nick

Did you try using a terry cloth to scrub it off? If so, I would try using the cloth with some water to soften it up.

I would try lightly rubbing with some detailing spray or bug & tar remover (if the detailing spray doesn't work), and avoid any hard rubbing or scrubbing.

If you can't remove it w/ a cotton towel, it's probably not only wax.
