NEW Tire Cleaner Question
NEW Tire Cleaner Question
Well my dad recently got a 2003 Camry (4 cyl) over a new 2004 Max....I know I know! I almost shot myself when they drove it home! Apparently in his old age he cares alot more about gas mileage of a 4 cyl.
Well he was washing the car, right? and I saw him use Shout on the tires. )Yes the stuff for stains in your clothes.) He likes how it took out the dirt and grim and what-not. But I was curious, is that stuff harmful to the tires? And what can he use to clean the tires off really good and what kind of spray or whatever would give the tires that pimped-out wet look?
Personally I would like to see that car rot in hell but I kinda feel for my pops. If he's screwing up the tires let me know....thanks

I use a dedicated tire cleaner, but Simple Green or something all purpose should be enough. It helps to scrub the tire with a brush though.
No Touch also makes 2 types of high shine tire foams. The High Shine forumla in the red can, and the Ultra Mega Ghetto Shine
in a purple can. One of those has GOT to be pimpin' enough for you.
