Well I have another busted flex and my car is very loud. I have one of the older style flex sections for my 2k Fed spec y-pipe. The y-pipe has been on the car for about 2 years and the flex section was replaced about 4 months after the purchase, due to a design flaw. I remember reading a while back that Cattman would retofit the newer style flex sections to owners that had the insides fail. Anyone have any experience with the problem and what were the results? I already contacted Brian Catts and awaiting a responce

 

i dont have any experience with having it replaced as i still have the 1st generation y on as well. i was curious if you had any pics that you could share because search on this site is disabled and the test site search is not working full strength yet. i really want to seperate the cat and y and check mine even though i dont really have any increased sound. i would assume the flex just starts crushing inward but if you had any pics or descriptions then it would be appreciated.

 

i think cattman agreed to pay for a new flex section for you guys that got busted ones
