Stillen intake
Stillen Y-pipe
Apex universal turbo 115mm muffler
Unorthodox Racing Ultra S Crank Pulley
i'm pretty sure everything else is stock, i just got it three days ago.

just like what it says under your screen name "I need to read the FAQ and important threads before posting a question". You might want to do that.

Maa'n theres no telling. I mean I could read you the specs.. But you need to get it dyno'd to get the highs and lows down right. Spend the few bucks and get a dyno.

Im new but, lets see. Ill be conservative:

Intake: 5-9 hp
Y-Pipe: 15-20 hp
Muffler: 5 hp
Pully: 5 hp

Maybe thats not conservative
But add it up and your looking at at least 30 hp.

Im surprised you didnt add a cat-back exhuast.

PS-These mods dont "ADD" hp, they just "free" it up.

You wanna "add" some power, throw on a Charger or NOS

I'd say its more like 1-3hp for the muffler, and 0.5-4hp for the UD pulley.

The only mod up there that frees up HP is the underdrive pulley. The muffler, intake and downpipe all work to increase inflow and outflow through the engine. Allowing more air to enter the engine creates more power, and allowing it to flow faster out of the engine creates more power. A supercharger creates compressed air. Think of a regular intake like getting punched in the face by Anna Nicole Smith, and a Supercharger like getting punched in the face by Mike Tyson.

muffler= 0hp.

Actually when the mods are used together they give more gains than if they were used separatley. Some guys had dynos where they gained 40hp at the wheels from i/y/e while others got less...

A pully wount show any increase on a dyno either. It only takes away some resistance from components from engine accelleration.

In other words, you engine might rev faster but it will not have any additional HP.

Thanks for correcing me Craig, however, i still stand by my statment that non of those mods "add" power.

Intakes, exhuasts dont "increase" airflow, they will only allow an engine to use/expell as much as it can, work to its fullest potential.

If the engine came from the factory with a good ypipe and exhuast, intake, and the real factory parts put back on everyone would agree that the stock parts "restrict" the engines potential.

Add the aftermarket parts and your then "freeing up" the engines potential.

The only mods that add HP are things that the engine was never supposed to do, like F/I, nitrous, higher compression, etc. Everything else just simply improves efficiency.

Ummm doesn't the y-pipe at about 15-20 FWHP? at least thats what the dyno on motovate says, and EVERYONE thats ever gotten y-pipes, so he's starting with at least 20 more to the wheels with all those mods, i'd say around 175-190 FWHP is i was gonna take a wild guess at it

with those mods, Overall HP is probably like near 210. to the wheels is probably around 185-190. Stock we are 190 overall and to the wheels we are probably around 175 ish.

It seems like I've seen this post somewhere before... Oh yeah, everywhere. Are you racing? If so, get it dynoed. If not, isn't it loud enough with an Apex muffler on it to make everyone think you are? Bottom line is that it is suprisingly fun to drive...

Well put.

You can say you are gaining horsepower by adding these mods, becuase power output is increased, but you could also say that your only free'ing up HP, becuase your allowing the engine to work more efficiently.
