ok im really confused on the different varieties of light bulbs...this is all i know....that i LOVE the bulbs that come in Mercedes, Lexus, and Acura, those nice bluish purplhish color, and then there Blue, hyper blue, super cool, super white, etc etc...and NOW theres HID??? what the hell is gng on??? Can someone explain the different types and provide a pic if they can??? thanks...

 

Start with the search function... there's plenty on lighting that's already be hammered out a few times.

BTW, HID is not a bulb... it's a system.. it's High Intensity Discharge... completely different technology.

There's a reason for those on BMWs etc... and it's not for looks, it's to see better. If you are in for looks, you local speed shop should have some 9004 blue tinted bulbs that are a fraction of the cost of true HID system.
