Help........driver's side axle coming out of tranny

My drivers side axle keeps coming out of tranny up to an inch. This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks and i keep losing tranny fluid. Has this happened to anyone else??? What can I do to keep from having to push axle back in every 2 to 3 weeks??? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

dude, before u do any damage, get your car towed to nearest shop that can take a look at it, or carefully drive to shop if its close enough...i never heard of that happening and i would be scared sh*tless of it just sliding off while driving...thats worst than a rim/tire falling off while driving

yeah, that's crazy **** man. when i had my eclipse gst i had curb checked and about a month later as i was driving my driveshaft popped out and all sorts of **** was falling out from under my car and it wouldn't move. had to tow it to dealership. turns out that curb check broke some midframe. that was scary enough, i would be terrified if my axle popped out on me.

Or it may be weak. See if you can replace the retainer clip.

I think he forgot to mention he has airbags. IMO it's caused by the increased distance from the hub to the diff when the car is sitting on the ground. It's designed to slide a little to compensate for changes in distance with stock suspension travel.
Isn't that taken care of by the joints?

Unless the distance is so great that the joints are at full length....

The CV joins will expand and contract quite a bit, there's plenty of room in there. Even fully jacked up pff the ground, your not pulling on your drive shafts so driving it on bags a little high should be irrelevent.

I found out that its caused by driving around with my front end all the way up. When I hit potholes (like on any freeway between here and LA) it will hyperextend the axle and I know I've driven through a lot of potholes in Orange County. I know that I need to replce my passenger side axle now. Live and Learn
