I think i need new tail light bulb

i got a 95 maxima se, one of my tail lights don't work. WHen my lights are on, you can't see the light, but when you applie the brakes it lights up. DO i just changed the bulb, is this easy to change? Thanks. Please provide instructions n cost please.

the lights in the tails are dual filament bulbs, i'm guessing the low filament has burned out. i think its an 1157 bulb, but i'm not 100% sure

Yes it is a 1157 bulb, there are for screws that hold the plastic cover behind all the carpeting.

Remove the carpet
remove four screws to plastic cover
twist socket from the taillight
change bulb

Very easy once you get to it
