I'm in the same boat... I have a 98 SE with tan leather (rosewood exterior/burgandy) and i was wondering what the aluminum interior would look like with the tan... Also i was wondering how good the kit from custommaxima actually looks... I can't tell from pictures if it looks cheap or if it looks good.... If anyone knows anything about them or has a picture of a tan interior with the aluminum trim then let us know plz! Thx

I agree 9mkax5. I'm in college also right now so i'm tight on my budget for spending so if it's gonna look crappy then i'd rather spend my money elsewhere... Anyways if someone has a picture PLZ let the 3 of us see it. Or if you know someone who has the tan interior with the aluminum dash kit then give us your opinion on how it looked. Thx!

wood, whatever. I hate teh wood kits look cheap. i am going to look for a better looking kit. Carbon fiber will look kinda like stock black just shinier.

Wood looks cheap? Wood looks classy, actually. If wood was cheap I don't think it would be the trim material of choice in the 250,000 dollar mercedes and even less costly luxury vechicles such as BMW's and Lexus'. Maybe you just don't have good, if any taste for that matter ....

Anyway, its your car so get what you like. I personally think wood would look the best, but if your looking for something more retro the carbon fiber might not be a bad choice. Just avoid the aluminum at all costs, please . Whatever you end up with let us know and post some pics.

not i did not say wood looks cheap. I think the wood DASH KITS do. The stock wood trim is very nice. Epecially in that Q45, with that white leather and that wood, make me just........well you know. I just think the wood dash kits do. Yea i am going for a sporty look, so wood is something i do not want. Carbon fiber might jst be what i buy.

I agree. I love factory wood and im sure you can buy quality wood kits, but the cheap ones look horible, worse than what the car looked like b4, it sometimes looks like your tryin to hard if you know what i mean?
