Hey, I have and use my California Car Duster regularly. It's getting black now. Supposedly "it gets better with use". Anybody wanna comment on this? Do I need to re-wax or recharge it?

I know what you mean, ThurzNite.

I've wondered about that myself and I've been using it for years. I think the rewax/recharge idea is out. Easier to get a new one.

I've been paranoid lately though and have stopped using it altogether. I keep reading all these car care tips about not dry wiping a dirty car and have begun to fear the legitimacy of the Car Duster's claims. "Gets better with time", hmmmm so when exactly is it too much and starts damaging your paint? hehe Kno'wha'I mean

Yeah. I try to use it weekly. I have covered parking, so only light layer of dust settles. Works good for that. Didn't work on the bird doo stuff though. It's time to hand wash my car I guess.
