OPAK air intake---bracket
Hi everyone....I just got an OPAK air intake (cone with the K&N filter)....took out the stock airbox and bolted it up.....took about 10 minutes......only problem is that it came with a bracket that I'm not sure where to mount. I know it needs it because the intake seems to just dangle down but I'm not sure how the bracket should be mounted. Anyone have this on their car? No instructions either....it was getting dark so my creativity was lacking...maybe it will become obvious in the morning...any hints are appreciated. The car sounds completely different......very deep....mean sound :-)
Do you have any pics of the intake and bracket that you can post? If the bracket is similar to the one with the JWT Popcharger, you bolt one end to the intake/throttle body bolt (the bottom corner one towards the front of the car), and then the other end of the bracket (has about a 90-degree bend) bolts to the car using the factory airbox bolt, directly below the intake.
