Buying used DC's from Cumalot

I bought a set of clear corners from a user named Cumalot for $20. A good price, I thought. Little did I know, that each piece was DAMAGED. The turn signal lights each had parts chipped off, and on one of them, the part that screws on to the car is almost completely broken off. As for the clearance lights, there is a little plastic screw that I had to remove from the original lenses to put on the clears, but the threads on the clears were completely stripped. I couldn't put the plastic screw on for the life of me. I was only able to do half clear/half amber corner lenses, but that looked Now I know why they were so cheap. I just had to get used parts.

no, i didn't ask him about the parts. i was just being naive and thought "hey, $20 when everybody else charges $30 or more? that works for me." so i ordered them, not knowing exactly how to install them (after sitting down and looking at it, it was real easy). But when I finally tried to put the clearance lights on, the threads on the lens were so warped I couldn't fit the screw on. So yeah, I'm a little upset. But whatever, not much I can do about that now, unless someone has got some DC clearance lenses for sale that are in at least decent condition.

SOAD1983: I don't know what to say. When I sent the lights to you, they were in good condition. Nothing was wrong with them. They could have been damaged in the shipping. It's definitely not on my part to ship you damaged goods. Ask anyone here, they know me. As far as the screws, I tried putting on the screws from the OEM ones to the clear, they didn't work for me either. The screws on the OEM ones seem to be a bit bigger size than the clears. I bought these clears brand new, they already had the screws on them. I took them off because I used a bolt to secure them to prevent someone from stealing them. I threw the original screws from the clears away, if not I would have included them. Again, when I sent them, nothing was wrong with them. I WILL NOT sell anything I know for sure is broken. I sold them for $20 only because I wanted to do someone a favor by selling them cheap, not because they was something wrong with them. To be honest, I regret selling them. After I sold them, I wished that I didn't. Sorry about the bad lights, but trust me, it's definitely not on my part to sell you the clear in this condition.

Well, this definitely wasn't a shipping issue. The parts I found missing that were chipped off weren't found anywhere in the box. If you regret selling them, I'll sell them back to you for the same price you charged me in the original box you gave me. But I know I can't use them for anything.

No, I don't want to buy it back. Like I said, when I shipped it, nothing was wrong. I don't know you, so I don't know what to make of what you said. I know when I shipped it, it wasn't like that. You are the only negative comment I have gotten. Again, ask anyone here, I am a guy that can be trusted. Sorry but nothing I can do about this.
