any 2003 models blew their MAF sensor yet?

any 2003 models blew their MAF sensor yet?

I got my weapon r intake and afraid to install it because of all this MAF blowing problems but all seem to be for 2000-2002 not the 2003 MAF I now they are different part numbers and all but if any 2003 owners blew thiers please respond.

Installed an Injen CAI a month ago and had no problems.... yet. Just take your time with the install and don't beat up you sensor. I also disconnected the negative terminal of the battery during the install. Good luck.

I have had a Frankercar on mine since 1k miles, with the good ole' K&N filter; and (knocking on wood) haven't had a problem.

My 2k3, never seen a stock airbox.. As soon as i got delievery with 43 kms on it, i repalced it with the Frankencar/apexi filter..

I now have 20,000kms, no SES, no failures

Same here, I had teh filter here the same week I go tthe car....maybe 200KM....8k later, the only problem I had was some squeeky washers I used to raise the intake clamp. BTW, the way i have mine installed, is teh best. I've looked at pics, and my gosh, some people are silly. Sorry ED, yours was cheesy, i hope u fixed it. On a brighter note, I called ED 16 times to help me install mine.....Cuz everything was either stuck, and had no instruction.
