I put the Eibach springs on my Max00', shortly after buying it in 99'. I was starting to get a popping noise in the front end. I have recently installed Tokico Blues, new rotors, re-balanced w/new tires.

It stopped for a short time, but the noise is back. I have tried several local shops and I believe they are brain dead.

Has anybody had the same problem? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Love my Max, keep a lot of cars in their place (behind me!)

When does this popping sound happen?

 

I have similar symptons. It didn't happen when I had eibachs, it started a few months after I got my H&Rs. I usaually do not get the popping unless its raining out. Im thinking that its probably a rubber part somewhere thats worn, ripped, or not sitting right. I've replaced the spring insulators, rubber top hats, and strut tops without any luck.
