      Mike, sure thing

Kloog, from what i understand slotted is the next best thing from regular rotors. X-Drilled is bound to crack on you eventually. As far as wear/tear goes, i'm not particularly sure - if anything, slotted will give your pads even wear. At least that's from what i recall.

How soon will this deal be going through?? If it is soon (within the next 2 weeks), count me in for my 2K2 for both the front & rear for $345. Also, can you work out a GD with them for pads as well??

I need to know the status on this ASAP. While it would be nice to save about $30-$40, I can't wait forever. I need new brakes. What kind of a time frame are we looking at here?

Luquire - take out $5 from this deal and add the price of the rotors above.

Ma><iManiac - We're getting close, still not enough but close. I'll talk to Jessica about making this happen even if we don't reach the exact minimum. She's usually very considerate about this stuff.

I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks

do these rotors work well with Axxis brake pads? Also, do these pads wear out faster with these rotors? Someone let me know.. thanks

I'm in for my 2k2 GLE as long as they are guaranteed to fit.
          F'n rotors warped on me.
Then again, I guess I have no one to blame but myself for using the stupid park brake on an auto tranny.
I want front and back plus the best(ceramic?) axxis pads all the way around.
Might as well go all the way as long as the mechanic's got everything off.

Please email me at sust79@hotmail.com when the deal is going down since I dont visit maxima.org every day.

          Thanks for the GD, soundmike{aw, man... where's the beer smilie?}

Alright, this is a go. Jessica was again kind enough to let the deal go though we haven't exactly made the minimum yet.

I'm updating the first post in a minute with ordering information - take note it will take at least a week before she can ship these out.

Thanks for joining guys and gals!

Soundmike and everyone else, I have a question regarding pads to compliment these Powerslot rotors. Which of the following pads would be best for complimenting the Powerslot rotors?? I was thinking either the EBC Green Stuff or Hawk HPS for the fronts and Axxis MetalMasters for the rears. Commentary on these selections is appreciated. BTW, they are from a GD going on right now as well:

          http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=248914

          EBC Green Stuff
          Front: $67.50/pair (Reg: $72.50)
          Rear: N/A

          Hawk HPS Pads
          Front: $62.00/pair (Reg: $67.50)
          Rear: N/A

          Axxis MetalMaster Pads
          Front: $51.99 (Reg: $57.50)
          Rear: $45.00 (Reg: $47.50)

          Raybestos Quietstop
          Front: $39.99 (Reg: $42.50)
          Rear: $42.00 (Reg: $45.50)

VMosser323, I've heard differing opinions on those pads.

From what i've read so far here on the .Org (i don't have personal experience with any of them) - the Hawk pads are best, followed by the Axxis then the Raybestos.

there was a GD last year for the dimpled/slotted rotors. i personally did not have good luck with them. they have been on for 20K and are causing judder. i even used the axxis metal masters. i drive a lot of highway miles. as far as i know, they can't be turned down. i don't think i will buy slotted or cross drilled again...just my pathetic 2 cents
