VID: race vs RX7, and a SR20

Word finally got out around town... so it was time to play with the "big dogs"

sat night was a run against a highly respected rx7 turbo.... don't know his mods but supposedly runs high 11's.
RX7 Race (0.7mb)

monday night it finally had to go down. no one knows what this guy has/runs/produces, but its a JUN kit'd SR20 powered s14 "silvia"... what I do know is he has a built SR20 w/ t3/t4 and nitrous along with 1600cc injectors controlled by autronic standalone and a "SMC" traction control system that is supposed to be awesome. enough trash had been talked, and it had been put off enough nights bc of stuff including cop helicopters, rain, etc. So tonight it finally happened. I was actually pretty afraid, and the results were far different than I had expected. we ended up racing 3 or 4 times as he would change his laptop or whatever.. everytime had somewhat similar results.
SR20 S14 "Silvia" Race (0.4mb)

a pic from the track before he blew+built his sr20.

good times
oh, and don't let my weak dyno's fool ya.. i was runnin a hair more for these guys

Own3d. Did you guys talk at all after the races? I'm curious as to what was said. Or did they just drive off limping with their tails between their legs?

doesnt seem to surprise me your going around waxing some serious @ssssss in kentucky, you should come down to Marietta, I have met some pretty fast boosted V8's, it would be fun to have you come out here and see what we have on Friday nights and Saturday nights. We too have our private lot/track , to give you an example the SCed LS1 I ran last time got waxed by a all motor Vette, and the trans am has a full bottle so this time it will be a lot different then before.

good runs
