A rock cracked the lens on the drivers side fog light of my 02 Maxima SE. Anybody know where I can find a replacement lens for a reasonablle price. I found an online Nissan Parts dealer that sells a foglight kit which inlsude two entire assemblies a relay and the fog light/turn siugnal switch for about $185. All I really need is the lens but might buy the whole kit. Any body need any of the other parts of the kit?

You can't replace the lense. You have to replace the whole housing. Get the $185 kit and replace the other side when it breaks in a few months.

Local Nissan dealership wanted $160 for just one.....

Welcome to the club I've already broken 3 lenses and the last two had 'protective' film over them. Hey, at least you are not alone.

 

i thought a rock cracked mine- but it was the heat
from the aftermarkwet piaa's that did the job

 

Mine were definately rocks. Not saying my PIAA Ion Crystals did not assist from there....

 

Me too. Replaced the driver side and added protective film to both sides. Now the passenger side is cracked. I wish there were some sort of pre-lense made out of lexan we could put a few inches in front of the actual lense. The film, even though it is about 1/4" thick, did nothing to protect it but it is holding all the broken glass together now.
