help on my safc

I just got done last night installing my safc on my 92 max se..
we put the key to the on position and defaulted the settings..then we started it up and the car ran fine..
problems:
sometimes i turn the key to the on position, the throttle will say 100%
sometimes it'll read zero..anyone can figure that out?maybe a bad connection with the wire..

also, i just turned the car on this morning and it started but the rpms started to drop so i gave it a little gas, then the car died..it did that 3 times then the car started up ok..
also the engine runs rough from idle and driving...can anyone figure this out??
any help would be appreciated...thanks

also..could it just be the ECU adjusting since we dissconnected the harness, so just give it a couple days and the car will run fine?

Even if it did need time to adjust, it would still run. Something is definitely not right about your installation if your car is dying.

well.we checked the resistance all connections and they turned out good..So the air flow sensor wire we cut we connected it back together..and the car ran with the safc disconnected..than we adjusted the settings so now it runs perfectly smooth..but imma see how long that will last..im on 4 in 4 out sensor type and 39, 40 throttle...car worked fine with 1 in 1 out sensor type but everyone is saying to put it on 4, 4
