Z32 Caliper Conversion: Maxima SS lines or 240sx-300zx SS lines?

I had a quick question for those with Z32 calipers. Are you guys running Maxima SS lines? or the 240sx to 300zx lines? I've read that stock lines do work but then I also read that we should use the 240sx-300zx lines? Whats the different between the two? Is there a negative of using Maxima lines?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do NOT run maxima lines. Get the 240-300zx conversion lines from www.heavythrottle.com

Will regular Z32 SS lines work? Or do I have to get the 240-300zx SS conversion lines?

Z32 lines are a totally different design, they are a hard line. You need the conversion lines.

Umm... calipers depends. Its about $300 for already rebuilt calipers. You can get them pretty cheap (I've heard $100-$200) at your junkyard then do a rebuild. Rebuild kit is ~$60. Conversion SS Lines $100. Rotors and pads depends on what you get but roughly the same price as Maxima rotors and pads.

Without brakes you're car won't stop... I also Auto-x ever so often as well.

Hey Nealoc187 how much wider are the Z32 calipers? I know they should fit my Kosei's K1 (16") but I'm wondering about my Rota Battle (18")
