Can nitrous damage paint of it comes in contact?

Can nitrous damage paint of it comes in contact?
If the purge hits the paint, will it do any negative effect to paint? I posted this in the nitrous forum but no response so Im asking a larger crowd thanks.

i don't think it will since it's only nitrogen and oxygen, and both of them are all around us in the air.

hmm... the temp, its just really cold thats about it. At most I think if you have dirt or whatever on your paint that the high psi's will push it up against your paint.
