It's quite a bit larger than the one for the Maxima, so you can use it longer. I used the 300z fuel filter when I replaced mine last weekend. It fits perfectly in the bracket on the Maxima.

I will probably change it out at 25K.

just change it once a year and don't worry about it. for the $5 they cost, it's a non-issue. eat one less cheeseburger and it's paid for.

I don't get why people ***** about changing the fuel filter. It takes 5 minutes and it's as easy as 1,2,5...

The job is not hard but its more of a pain to manuver your hands in there to get it loose and to remove it. The job gets better if you have ABS.

I use Z filters, but just change them "when I'm in there". I changed it when I swapped the engine, and whenever I have the intake piping off and I think of it. I've got 3 or 4 of them in my garage.

It should be on the firewall down under your steering pump.

I use pliers to hold the hoses in place while I twist the filter back and forth until it breaks free. You have to place the pliers on the fittings of the filter for this to work.

I use an interior door panel popper around the hose then just pop it off..

Took me literally 40 seconds to do the whole thing.
