The car is a stock 93 (188,000) with only an alarm (Ungo) that was added right after purchase. The battery (new one put in) goes dead overnight on an inconsistent basis. There is no apparent drain when you put a meter to it. So it appears that something is going "on" at some point. Doesn't make any sense to me. Any ideas or thought on how to track it down would be greatly appreciated.

Although the following conditions have existed long before this problem - maybe they are connected:
Radio (stock) digital display does not work.
Cruise control does not work.
Passenger door lock does not work.

This car is an old friend, was getting ready to totally restore (saving the money), but this electrical thing is a killer.

yup.. check the alternator.. I've seen many alternators and starters failing lately on our cars.. I guess it goes with the season.. ????
