So are OEM knock sensors REALLY Bosch???

I need a new KS, and I was told that Bosch sensors aren't especially great with our cars. However, people have said that Bosch makes our OEM KS, so I decided to try and figure it out myself.
This site has an OEM KS:
courtsey

This site has a much lower price for a Bosch sensor, and a different part number than the OEM on the other site:
carparts

So whats the decision guys? I think the price difference is one indication that the Bosch isn't OEM. I think I might spend the extra money if indeed the OEM sensor is different than the Bosch. Has anybody had a bad experience with the Bosch?

BOSCH makes the O2 sensors for our car, however, that I know of, the KS is NOT a BOSCH O2 sensor. I would stick with OEM.....

What do you mean by identical? Was the part number the same, or did the labels just look the same? How do you know the KS you pulled from your car was from the factory?

All markings and numbers on the KS are the same. The old KS should be from the factory because I am the first owner.

That's interesting. Anybody else have info about it?

No I'm pretty sure that the factory ks on my 96 se 5speed was a Bosch. When I replaced it about 10k miles ago, they were the same part, both made by Bosch and the ks has never been changed before that so it's definitely the factory ks. I went with the one from www.thepartsbin.com cause it was the cheapest.

My new and old knock sensors are from Unisia Jecs (printed on the sensor). How do you know it's from Bosch?

Say if they are the same sensors, does it matter or is there a price gap or something???

If they are the same sensor, then the price is the only thing to look out for. Since Courtsey Parts doesn't know who makes the OEM sensor, and nobody can find any hard evidence as to the OEM not being Bosch, I'm gonna go ahead and buy the Bosch.

i just replaced the ks a few months ago(awesome results btw) with a bosch and it was also identical.
The only guy at my local dealer that is gut-level honest with me told me that the oem IS BOSCH, but nissan would never tell you that.
