I'm swapping out the stock wiring and adding new 12 ga wire for my speakers. i can see where the stock wire runs through the door opening, but I can't see anything else.

has anybody else run new wire in their car? i need help!

 

are you talkin about runnin a power cable from your battery?

 

no, running speaker cable from my door (to replace stock wires) to my headunit.

 

It's a PIA, but you can do it.. I ran two sets of 15ga flat speaker wire through it.. poked it out of the cabin right underneath the OEM harness (outside the rubber "boot"), and back into the door just beneath it ont eh other side.. I then tied the speaker wires to the OEM harness with some small zip ties, and was done with it.

the hardest part is just getting the wires through the area.. very small clearances, and running big wire through small spaces isn't easy.
