Please help me with my Time Slip!?

I ran my 2k2 Auto on Saturday at Byron in IL.
My mods are Injen Intake and 50 Wet Shot.. Heavy 18" rims.

R/T - .857
60 - 2.334
330 - 6.120
1/8 - 9.175
MPH - 80.35
1000 - 11.854
1/4 - 14.088
MPH - 101.81

I am still new to this but the high trap speed leads me to believe I could have had a slightly higher 1/4 time.. Is this correct, please offer me any advise or assistance..

yhea, looks like you can run high 13's. I'd say 13.7 or 13.8. Are you spraying out of the hole?

Nope.. I am using the NOS RPM switch with a "ON" chip of 3600 and a "OFF" chip of 6000.. When my car shifts to second and hits the 3600 mark it burns out again, not to mention off the line even without the NOS it has terrible traction especially with my tires and rims..

just work on the launch. Maybe try and pick up some light weight 15" wheels for the track. That could help alot. I know it is much harder to lauch on my 17's then my 15's. I seem to get more wheel hop and bogg more often with the larger rims.

hmmm...

maybe if u throw on some lighter azzz wheels. That might help. Cuz 18's can be a biznitch...lol. If you can put some stcok 15's or 16 SE / GLE wheels when u race, it might help. If you cant do that, then lower your front tire pressure to about 25psi. You will most certainly get less peeling out. I've seen people in the past that have changed there front two wheels with stock wheels just so they can get better times. And it makes a difference. GOOD LUCK

15" rims won't fit on a 2k2. Smallest you can go is 16.

really? What keeps them from fitting. I would not theink the rotors or calipers are too big. Even with a 35mm offset you couldn't find some wheel to fit???

Chitwista get some slicks or drag radials and you will be able to pull 2.0 60's and be running mid 13's

Im so close to ordering a nitrous kit for my 04. I need speed!! and I can just gain more by every N/A mod added. seems WIN WIN!! Anyways 50 shot wet is nothing on these motors, correct? I guess Im still kinda worried since the car is brand new. Hows that window switch work? and you can set it to start spraying when you shift to second??
