Ok I know this has been talked about but I searched for it and couldn't find what I wanted.

Does those carbon filters really work and make a difference in the air coming in? I am thinking about getting it installed when I am due for the 30k service.

 

I had a regular filter and replaced it with the two piece carbon filter and didn't notice any difference. Do it yourself, it's easy and you'll save a few bucks.
