Oil Drain???

Oil Drain???

To drain oil from the turbo, did you guys tap the oil pan??

i tapped the lower pan, but it would be better to do the upper. Take the lower pan off and run a tap into the upper, just make sure that you dont leave any shavings in the sump.

Thanks. I was told to get a second pan for this. Not sure why.
How are you getiing oil in?? Straight from the pump??

remove your oil pressure sensor and replace it with a tee. put the sensor on the branch, then use the run to go to the turbo. if you get a second pan, then you can do the work to the pan without having your car down.
