Nissan Logo Emblem/badge Question

Hi,

This is a bit of an unusual question (well usually mine are anyway ) but I am looking for the nissan logo badge/emblem which is on the 2k2 and 2k3 steering wheel. If not something similar in size. I have seen the ones on custonmaxima but they are too big. Any clue where I could look, it doesn't have to be the exact same size, but close. Thanks!

Sam

Just go to the dealer and ask for the emblem for the steering wheel for 2k2 or 2k3. I think they have it.

Just make sure you don't stick it on your steering wheel... unless you want it to crack your head open when the airbag deploys!...

I found one through an old thread after lots of research. Thanks for the suggestions. Eh I don't think it will do anything, mercedes have them on all the time. Plus if I get in accident where the airbag deploys, that is the least of my concerns

Yes, but the airbag is designed to inflate without "rocketing" the emblem. If you install it on an airbag that is designed to inflate in a certain way, it could hit you or one of your passengers... it's not worth looking "cool" if you ask me.

The steering wheel cover of 2k & 2k2+ maximas is obviously different... they probably "split open" differently. Don't risk it! It's like female passengers that like to rest their feet on the passenger airbag: INSANE! Cause accidents aren't planned you know... that's why they're called accidents. (I know)

Just the cover will rocket off (with the emblem). If a strong adhesive is used, you will have no problem. The cover comes off as one piece on that wheel(as I saw the aftermath from a friend's 4th gen). Unless I plan to use scotchtape to hold it on, it should be fine. I appreciate the concern however, but it should be fine.
