Under car measurements with Teins...*pic*

If you’re thinking about Teins and would like to know how low the drop is under the front end, here you go. Please don't pay attention to the dirt. It's been raining here for the last 3 days.

Damn, that is mighty low. I scrape that plastic piece in front if I go up my driveway straight with Maxspeeds already

So any speedbump more than 3.5 inches will scrape that pipe?

either that or he scouts his route from point a to point b with another vehicle ...comes back, hops in max then goes the "safe" route.

I bet it's an impressive sight to see in person...but damn man is this just for show or what? thats too low for my blood.

Still impressive, nice pic.

No, because it is pretty much centered between the wheels. That keeps it up off the ground enough to clear. I have yet to scrape going over any speedbump. Matter of fact, i haven't scraped going over anything yet. If you look at my sig pic. My car is setting just over the edge of my driveway. The driveway is a little angled down and drops off about 3 inches. I can go over that straight on with 4 people in the car, and it still doesn't scrape. It's pretty close but it doesn't.

This sounds like a Volkswagen commercial.

I haven't hit anything (yet) with my Teins/KYB GR-2 setup...and I've gone over some NASTY bumps/roadwork.

I also have the Tein/GR2 combo, and no scraping anywhere...it's really not that low compared to drops on other cars...however, if I had a kit I'd be worried.

There would probably be more clearance if it wasn't an auto
