2nd time at Bryon, IL 14.76

We'll about 5 Maxes showed up (ok 4 Maxes and some Infinity thingy)

78deg, 45% hum, 21mph headwind. Best I could manage was a 14.763 @ 93.1mph with my usual 2.19 60'. I think my 16" 39lb wheel/tire combo may still be hurting me.

Got rid of the smaller diam tires and now only run 2% smaller diam than stock. I kept it in 3rd through the entire run and never bumped the limiter.

Only 4 runs during my 4hours there. We had over 400 cars pay at the gate inlcluding an Impala club, Mustang club, and practice runs for some 7.xx and 8.xx beasts running today.

#3 run was a blast (left timeslip). Nothing like looking over at your twin car from start to finish.

Good racing ya Brian. Dont' know if you saw my 14.65 before you left or not. Still not happy with my times, but I know you feel the same.

Good to see you again brian. its too bad you had to leave early. Towards the end of the night we really started getting some runs in. I ended up with about 12 runs, the slips are out in the car so I can't tell you exactly. There was a pair of Camaros that came in at 5:45, they close at 6, those guys even got 5 runs each...

I had fun too. Glad you got so many runs. Guess we could've gone to the meet then all showed up at like 2-3 and gotten just as many runs Next time I want a North wind and not so much 2nd hand burnout smoke.

Damn, 12 runs? I'm lucky to get 3 runs in unless the weather is really hot (90s) and then I can usually get as many runs as I want. At my track we have street cars, drag cars, junior dragsters, bikes, and 4-wheelers running on test-n-tune nights. There are just way too many different classes trying to run when we only have 3.5 hours to run.

Nice time - I love the nights where no one shows up and you can run 12-15 times. Had one of those during the summer.

It was busy at byron. The 12 runs Neal got were over a 7 hour period. And I bet 4 of those were the last 1/2 hour when everybody was going home.

About 8 of them were in the last hour. In the previous 6 hours I had like 4 runs.

You seemed to pick the right lines all day. You were getting two runs for every one of mine.

Experience at the track doesn't mean just launching
