225/55/17 Dunlop GTs?

Will these fit on my car and if so how will they look? Anyone use 55s? I can get them pretty cheap otherwise I'd stick with the 225/45/17s. Thanks for the input.

235/45/17 is the best size for 17" wheels for the 4th gen... I think 215/50/17 would also work....

the size you said would work but your speedo would be off

A 215/50/17 or 225/50/17 would be the best.

Go to Tirerack.com and examine the tread width of your prospective tires vs. the width of the wheels you will use.

For example, a 215/55/16 Dunlop SP9000 has a 7.00" tread width so that matches up nicely to my wheels which are 7.00" wide.

I have had 55's for over 30K miles now and like them very much.

Let me know if you would like me to e-mail a picture.
