Pics of my new 2k2 wheels on my 99 Max.

So I just got these put on yesterday. I love them already. And the tires are awesome. These are off a 2002 SE. I bought them from a forum member named Padsy. Thanks alot to him. I'm real happy with the wheels.

Avoid looking at the rest of the car. I didnt have a chance to wash it today. Its pretty filthy. The tires are Pirelli P6000 225/50-17 Z rated. I love the way they handle. A big improvement over my previous tires.

You got them put on? You didn't pay someone to bolt a set of rims onto your Maxima did you?????

They look good though. I may get some of those for the winter

agreed. 5th gen rims pwn on 4th gens. They fill gap more and look big, just like 6th gen would look great on 5th gen. But u should drop it a little

Thanks for all the compliments.

Arrafio: I dont know about you, but i dont have a tire balancer at home. Thats why i had to pay someone to do it.

Also, the desire to drop it a tad has already reared its little head. I'll probably go with just some H&R's. Just something to close the gap a tad.

MaxAttack: I'm pretty sure these rims are a good bit lighter than my 15' OEM rims. So it should be an improvement.

About the clear lights? Are they legal? I know everyone has them. But everyone also has 5% tint too. I have to worry about inspection. I dont want to do anyhting that wont let me pass.

Again, thanks for all the compliments. I love how the wheels look on a 4th gen. I'll post pics when i eventually get it dropped. Might not be for a little while though. Gotta let the ol' wallet recover from this purchase

My bad, I assumed you bought the rims and tires together.

I believe federal law states that you need to have a red reflector on the back of your car, this is taken care of by that little dash of red on the bottom of the lights (if i am remembering correctly) the clear part that you either buy or do yourself does not affect that little red strip, so as long as you maintain either red or amber turn signals, your rear-end is fine. However, clear corners in the front ARE illegal as a yellow reflector is needed in the front to keep federal specifications. someone please respond if I am wrong.

i think clears in front are fine if u have yellow bulbs, i remember hearing on this org that some cars do come stock with clear reflectors and yellow bulbs...BTW, take a look at my SE rims on my homepage!

Arrafio:I did buy the rims and tires together. But they arent new. The guy drove them a good bit. I'm sure he had them balanced when they were put on his car. But i figured better safe than sorry. I needed an alignment too. So i just got it all done while i was there.

rguida: Thanks for the info. Its something i might look into. As long as its legal. Thats one headache i can deal without.

fine and illegal are two seperate terms that shouldn't be mixed...it may be fine with many police officers, it is still breaking a federal law to have them and no yellow front reflector.

Looks good man.....Thanks for picking them up. I hope you enjoyed your time in Charleston and did not get into too much trouble.

I have been telling everyone here, those Pirelli P6000's are the BEST bang for the buck tire.
