Rain comes in window when open.

Sounds normal, right. How do I stop it...shut window...NOT. I just want it open a crack so is there anything that I can do to stop it from coming in....like a shield or sumthin'? I tried search....but I'm allowed only one every 60 seconds? Sucks when what ya thought would work didn't and you want to try again. But any help would be appreciated, maybe a link and a picture of shields installed would be helpful too. TIA

I've got Weathertech Weatherflectors on my Max. Honestly the car looks much cleaner without them, but they're very functional here in Seattle. These can pop out whenever you want to, unlike the others that are stuck onto your paint...

This is OT, but fyi: We don't get jack for rain around here, but Seattle still has many many more sunny days than we do each year. We looked it up once, just out of curiosity. Upstate NY is one of the more depressing areas as far as sunshine goes.

You got that right... I live in upstate NY (for now) and I f#<king hate it here. Its very depressing. Summers are awesome but that's like 4-5 months. Rest of the time, its either raining or snowing. 7 months out of a year you are always wearing thick clothes. Not to mention, no more chicks walking around without bra

It sux!

Go w/ weathertech. I have em and love how they look and perform. My suggestion is once you set the two rear visors leave the windows up for like a week or two so the tape makes a good bond.

I grew up in Rochester, NY, went to UB, so I know the area. Having lived (living) in both areas let me quickly tell you the difference...Rochester has more cloudy days, BUT it doesn't get them all in a row, like Seattle. You see, once it starts raining here in the winter, it doesn't stop till summer....once summer comes, we get 60 days straight of sunshine. I perfer the mix of Upstate NY, but on the flip side, it rarely gets below 50degrees here in the winter!

Check the GD section...not sure if it's still running, but they had a GD going on a little while ago for the Weathertech Weatherflectors.

It's true that Seattle doesn't get the most rain in the country, or even the most dark days...but it does rain ALOT here, and it's damn depressing...

Then I take it you really hate your Potenzas? I can't imagine driving around in Seattle with the stock Potenzas on with the amount of rain you get. You probably have something better for tires I presume?

But living in Upstate NY, we get rainy days too.....but not as much as Seattlers. Driving in the rain is no fun at all with the Potenzas. It gives me sweaty palms at times.

Guys, if you look at danz300's initial post, he is looking for some sort of deflector in which he can leave his window open. Triple8Sol's setup looks nice, but don't think thats what danz300 is looking for in this case.

Volkl is rollin' on 225/40/18 BFG g-Force T/A KDW rubber.

I've got 245/35/19 Nitto 555 rubber.

The stock Potenzas were very scary...
