Lately when I put my car in reverse I hear a creeking sound (like a door creeking when opening.) It's not coming from the tranny or engine. It's from the back right wheel area.

Occasionally, when I'm driving I'll breifly hear a sound, similar to a chain clanging together. Sometimes if I brake slightly it'll stop the sound.

Any ideas? Brakes? Wheels? Something else?

I'm taking in to the shop Wednesday (soonest I can do it.)

 

could be the rsb bushings?
a strut on its way out?
