Warranty work and a clutch

My clutch is slipping. I have one year or 10,000 miles left on my powertrain warranty. Will Nissan deny warranty service on a new clutch because of my intake and y-pipe? I know the whole thing about how they have to prove the mod caused the problem. But since the clutch so obviously has nothing to do with the intake would they even ask? Personal experiences would be great. It would be nice to not have to put the old intake and y-pipe back on if I can be 99% sure there will be no problems.

whether or not certain warranty work is covered is completely up to the dealership. only tell them about the mods if they ask. and they might not even notice the ypipe. if they deny you, then you most people just contact the headquarters of nissan, and try to work something out over that, or just call the BBB

my throttle body was replaced under warranty, and i have intake, y-pipe, exhaust, vb, and they were cool about it.

doesn't the "powertrain" warranty cover the engine and transmission? i don't think it's "normal" for a clutch to be slipping at 50,000 miles.

depends, powertrain covers engine, and trans components, i almost guarantee u they will write the clutch up as a wear item and will not cover it
