..with 225/45/18 for all four corners. Will this combo fit the car well?
Most importantly, will this setup clear the big brake kit from Stillen/etc.?

I understand that our cars will not need bigger tires in the rear, but a friend of mine is interested in buying a wheel set with the spec above.

Is this safe (load rating wise, tire to rim fitment, and handling)?

Agreed. 225s on a 9.5" wheel will look retarded, if you can get the bead to even seal. 225-40-18s are recommended to be used on a 7-8.5" wheel.

If you guys are suggesting those sizes...man..... it would be a heavy setup, especially in the rear.

235/245 in the fronts and about 245/255 in the back then.....

I should go and punch in the numbers at the tire calculator to find out about ratio.
