change new battery alarm wont turn off!

first post here, hi everyone!

i just changed the battery out of my 95 and when i reconnected the battery the factory alarm just wont turn off. any ideas? i cant figure it out for the life of me... the alarm pad battery is good and pressing arm or unarm doesn't help.... the POS owners manuel doesnt say jack regarding battery change and the alarm... grrr!!

any help would be very much appreciated!!

take out the fuse in the meantime so you can go to work? then bring it to dealer and ask them to reprogram it or for help fixing. goodluck man

which fuse? alarm fuse? horn fuse? the car wont start cuz the alarm is tripped...

check the relay box and/or fuse box in the engine bay. i'm pretty sure one says anti/theft or something to do with alarm. sorry, i'm not an expert, just something i'd check out. maybe call a dealer first thing in the morning and ask them what they think. hopefully they'd be able to give you some good advice. g'luck
