I have a 2k2 Maxima SE without the Bose system. I was just wondering what size speakers fit in the rear. I've searched, but I keep getting contradicting info.

 

6.5 fronts/rear

 

6.5 fit in the rear, but you need to make adaptors out of the old speakers. Pain in the n***, but works great.

 

I just installed Infinity Kappa 5.25" s in the rear and had room for 6.5's. The only reason i didn't switch is because I ordered them off ebay and didn't want the hassle of returning them. I basiclly used the stock speakers, cut woofer of the stock speaker and drilled the Infinity's into them. I then sealed around the gap that was around the speaker with clear RTV. This is why I recommennd 6.5's there is plenty of room in the non-bose setup.
