The best looking VQ picture I've EVER seen...

This is also a good article, but look at the VQ engine in the picture..... If I had that thing under my engine bay... I would throw up on myself...

Awesome.

I think that VQ30DETT sounds better than RB26DETT anyway.

in addition, VQ is probably the best V6 engine ever built. it's realiable and smooth, and it's also capable being forced inducted. you can already see full of great testimony about VQs just from maxima.org.

Yeah, that's a nice looking VQ... but did anyone notice this:

This is a single-make formula in which all the cars were powered by VQ30DE engines; the chassis were made by Dallara of Italy. Up until 2001, this series used the CA engine, but from 2002 switched to the VQ engine to gain both better performance and save costs. The engine is tuned to develop 450 ps, but long overhauling sites help reduce teams' operating costs.

If i'm not mistaken, I read that as an NA tuned VQ30 making about 443hp and placed in what amounts to an F1 car....

Yeah dude... could you only imagine what they must've done to get that kinda power... I wish nissan would sell this kinda stuff to us or at least offer it...

we designed a number of different kinds of pistons, con rods, and other components for different levels of output and prepared a menu of options.
I wish we could get some of those part!

Yeah, less than the dual heat shields, the dual throttle body is blantent. However, that page did not say that this specific engine pictured was in all the cars. In quite a few places they make references to NA versions. I believe that series that I was referring to is NA only. Could be wrong tho. Still one hell of an engine!
