why did my 9004 upgrade harness melt again?!?!?

about 7 months ago, i replaced and upgraded my wiring harnesses with ones i bought from southwestautoworks.com, i also got rid of the cheap bulbs i was using and have been using philips blue visions. (side note, one of them burnt out last week which got me mad enough cuz it wasn't even 7 months old!!)

i looked today and one half of the wiring harness inside is starting to melt again...why would it do this??? i didn't think the blue visions' wattage was enough to do that on upgraded harnesses. can anyone clue me in to why this happened and how to avoid it because it's really an inconvenience and a pain to drive around with a headlight out.

HIgher wattage melts harnesses. Dont bother with those bulbs. The cheapest alternative is going to a local auto parts store and buying a new socket and splicing it back in. (If that is the part of the harness that burnt out). And trying to buy some bulbs with stock wattage, correct me if I'm wrong but I think stock is 65/55. The only bulbs Ive had experience with that havent burnt out sockets have been PIAA bulbs which I had on my old car, I had them for a year and the sockets were original, they were 21 years old.

Sorry then, I have no experience with those. I do know they are better quality than half the cheap stuff out there. But other than what I said above, I wouldnt know whats wrong.
