97 nissan maxima idle rate?

Hi,

Just bought a 97 maxima.. Only a couple issues, I'll address one at a time in different posts.

First issue is that it idles at about 600rpm... is that normal? I'm not a car guy so just don't know.

Is there something I can look at or tweak to drop the idle, or is that something I should take it into get looked at?

Thanks,

Dan

For the last time, idling don't mean ****. It's idling in NEUTRAL, for autos and 5spd, that matters. For 5spd it's 625rpm and autos it's 700rpm in NEUTRAL...
