Schosch Instal Kit NN1494 PROBLEMS
Yeah, I bought the Scosche kit for a spare after the kit I bought from Autotoys.com. Autoytoys fits real good, except its not grey (for matching purposes) like the Scosche. I tried the Scosche after I bought another HU, but it didn't quite fit right with the double-din.

After a lot of experimenting with new holes and different positions (nothing sexual...) I got the Scosche kit to look decent, here are some pictures:

What do you think?

Also, as you can see I went with a Pioneer (DEH-5500), I have used Pioneer HU's in the past and been very happy (I also have a Pioneer changer in the trunk, no problems ever). I got it from sounddomain.com but etronics has it cheaper if you don't need the free install kit and harness. Also, I used the scosche FAI-3a ($20 Sounddomain) and it works great, very easy to setup, sound is very clean, volume can be set as loud as you like with the gain contols. Overall everything went smooth except the install kit.
