I know this company named Seibon that will do it. And although I asked them about CF hoods, I'm sure they'll probably offer the same thing for trunks as well.

Do you think that getting a carbon fiber trunk would be easier to stop unwanted rattling from a banging stereo system? If so i would be interested.

A Carbon fiber trunk lid? Why don't they just make the whole car body from Carbon fiber?

Been done, already. I saw an almost completely CF 2nd Gen Civic in a book one day that had just about everything you could imagine made from CF. I think the guy who owned the car is the son of the owner of Fiber Images. Go figure...

yes, carbon fiber trunk lid is coming.. there are NO details right. I can not even guess on a price, I do know that the keyhole will be shaved and that is about it.

i should have my unit in 5-8 weeks and will go from there.. if there is a lot of interest in this, i will push for sooner and get pricing and pictures, but right now with only 2 or 3 people so/so i am not going to bother for my guy's sake..

If the price is good and will stop the rattle of my stereo, then I'm in.

I am not sure why your trunk lids rattle? there is really nothing to rattle on there. if anything it is your trunk latch, spoiler, if you have any loose metal inside the lid or the lisence plate rattling.

If it actually your LID that rattles for some weird reason, these may help, but i am not sure how much.. time will tell.

Actually, I think it's just my spoiler that rattles. But if the cost of the trunk lids are around the price of a hood, I'm in

I think the best bet is to just make 97-99 lids so people can just convert to a 97 rear end. I mean why not. At the same time it gives you the opportunity to get red/clears.

Deac: When the h*ll are you going to update your page? You've been turboed forever and I'm tired of looking at that SC. Everyone has told me about the turbo but I have yet to see it. And the 19" BBS rollers. Come on man.
