Cd Player Pockey Drawer

When I got my Maxima...I noticed the drawer underneath my Bose Reciever seemed broken...I just bought a Pioneer cd player and am going to replace the whole system (the back speakers are already blown, and the front ones gotta go). I took out the whole thing today...and noticed there was a spring hooked to the pocket on one end (connected by a screw to the pocket) and the other end wasnt connected to anything, I also noticed part of the drawer had been broken off (you could only see this from if you took it out) any ideas on how to fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just installing a CB radio in place of this drawer ... and ask yourself a question - do you really need it as a cup holder?

BTW, it is really nice to have wheather channels handy.

As for you, guys - scanner (with local police channels) might be very helpfull.
